Carroll

Oconto Falls graduate Aaron Kurth competed in the 60-meter dash and on a relay team for the Carroll University men's track and field team at the Phoenix Invitational on Jan. 11 in Chicago.

Kurth placed third in the 60 finals, posting a time of 7.09 seconds.

He was also on the third-place finishing 4x400 relay team that earned a time of 3:38.33.

Wyoming

Oconto Falls graduate Dewey Krueger picked up another win in the Wyoming wrestling team's 17-16 loss to South Dakota State on Jan. 12.

Krueger earned a 9-4 decision win at the 157-pound weight class.

In his match, Krueger got takedowns in the first and second periods and had a four-point nearfall.
