State track and field results (June 3)

Area track and field individuals and relay teams turned in more strong finishes during the second day of state competition on June 3 at Veterans Memorial Stadium in La Crosse.

Here is a list of individuals and relay teams that competed at state on June 3, events they competed in, places they took and the times or distances/heights they achieved:

Witt-Birn

• Reese Rogowski: second in long jump (18-2); third in 400 (56.45); sixth in 200 (24.94); 10th in 100 final (12.65).

• Faith Resch: third in 300 hurdles (45.19).

Gresham/Bowler

• Emmitt Kietlinski: second in triple jump (44-9¼).

Suring

• Christine Sleeter: tied for fourth in high jump (5-2).

Gillett

• Alex Peterson: fourth in 1,600 (4:20.53).

Lena/STAA

• Eva Brooks: 11th in high jump (5-0).

Bonduel

• Mariah Wondra: 15th in 3,200 (12:36.27).

• Kendra Troxel, Ashlyn Kurey, Cierra Schnell, Mariah Wondra: 15th in girls 4x800 relay (10:27.26).

Shawano

• Adalyn Barkley, Grace Chelberg, Lily Guenther, Bailey Hendricks: 13th in girls 4x800 relay (9:51.47).

• Adalyn Barkley: 10th in 400 (1:01.6).

• Lily Guenther: 20th in 3,200 (11:53.31).
