The Shawano and Gillett boys basketball teams earned the highest seeds among area teams when the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association released brackets on Feb. 19.

Regional postseason games will take place Feb. 28, March 3 and March 4.

Division 2

Shawano earned a No. 2 seed in its bracket.

The Hawks get a bye for the first round and will open the postseason March 3 by hosting No. 7 Wausau East or No. 10 Waupaca.

Pulaski is a No. 8 seed in another bracket. The Red Raiders will host No. 9 Luxemburg-Casco on Feb. 28, with the winner advancing to take on No. 1 West De Pere on March 3.

Division 3

Wittenberg-Birnamwood and Oconto Falls are the area teams playing in the Division 3 field.

Witt-Birn is an 11 seed. The Chargers will face No. 6 Wrightstown on Feb. 28 in Wrightstown, with the winner advancing to take on No. 3 Northland Pines on March 3.

Oconto Falls is the 13 seed in the top portion of that bracket. The Panthers will head to No. 4 Peshtigo on Feb. 28 for their first playoff game. If Oconto Falls wins that game, the team would then either head to No. 12 Tomahawk or No. 5 Winneconne on March 3.

Division 4

Menominee Indian and Bonduel both reside in Division 4 brackets.

Bonduel earned a No. 6 seed and will host No. 11 Crandon on Feb. 28. The winner will head to No. 3 Kewaunee on March 3.

Suring is the No. 10 seed, while Lena is the No. 15 seed in the bottom portion of that bracket. If Suring were to upset No. 7 Elcho and Lena upsets No. 2 Three Lakes, the Marinette & Oconto Conference teams would meet March 3 in Suring for a regional semifinal.
