Shawano County libraries closing again

By:

Shawano County Library and its branches will return to curbside services beginning Monday, citing the health and safety of its patrons.

Through curbside service, patrons can continue to checkout materials, copy, and fax items. All libraries will continue to offer computer use and printing appointments. Mobile printing is available at all libraries except Birnamwood.

Outdoor return dropboxes are available at all locations, and items should continue to be returned by the due date to avoid overdue fines. Patrons can contact their local library with their needs so that staff can assist.

The library’s website, shawanolibrary.org, and the Facebook page will be updated and a ton of virtual programs can be accessed. Patrons can utilize online and digital resources including:

• Overdrive, where there are 50,000 ebook titles and 18,000 audiobook titles to choose from.

• hoopla, where hundreds of thousands of different digital movies, music, audiobooks, TV shows and more are available.

• Tumblebooks, which features hundreds of animated children’s picture books

• rbDigital, which carries 7,000 audiobooks, 135 full-color magazines, and unlimited access to instrument and voice lessons
