Shawano boys golf team claims 1st in 4-team match

All five Shawano Community High School boys golfers placed inside the top 10 to help the team earn first place at an April 23 match at Pine Hills Golf Course in Gresham.
Shawano finished with a team score of 172. Bonduel and Clintonville tied for second with scores of 206, while the Menominee Indian/Gresham co-op came in fourth with a mark of 244.

Andrew Puissant led the way for the Hawks, firing a nine-hole round of 40, the top individual score on the afternoon. Teammate Owen Moesch was just one shot back to claim second as an individual.

Kaden Marcell fired a round of 45, good enough for a tie for third place as an individual. Lucas te Plate tied for fifth with a round of 46, and Ayden Hale came in ninth with a round of 50.

Cooper Uelmen was Bonduel's top finisher, tying for third with a round of 45. Reed Luepke tied for fifth after carding a 46.

Jake Dreyer, Trey Vandenbrook and Louis Hrabik filled out the Bears' lineup, firing rounds of 53, 62 and 76, respectively.

Waylon Corn led the Menominee Indian/Gresham co-op with a round of 53. Saswaen Shawanokasic finished with a round of 59.

Jack Haffner (65), Bryson Nelson (67) and Will Jensen (69) filled out the co-op's lineup.
