School board accepts private donations

The Oconto Falls School Board accepted four private donations during its Jan. 8 regular meeting.

• A $1,500 anonymous donation was made to the Oconto Falls High School wrestling program.

• Tim and Krista Solarek contributed $1,000 to the Oconto Falls High School girls basketball program.

• Jerry and Tammy Moynihan donated $250 to the girls basketball program and $250 to the high school athletic department for Dig Pink, a program that allows volleyball teams to host events and raise funds for cancer research and treatments.

• Steel Moose Bar and Grill donated $325 in unclaimed football pool prizes to be used to pay delinquent students lunch accounts.
