Ronda L. Radtke

Ronda L. Radtke, 78, of Marion, passed away Monday morning, Jan. 8, 2024, at the Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville.

Ronda was born on June 10, 1945, in New London as the daughter of the late Ernst and Marcella (Buss) Radtke. She graduated from Marion High School in 1963. The day after graduation, Ronda began working for Marion State Bank as a teller and retired after many years at the now Premier Community Bank, having worked in bookkeeping and had also held the title of assistant vice president.

Marion residents will remember Ronda for the many years she served as the treasurer for the Greenleaf Cemetery in town. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marion and enjoyed bowling in league at the Marion Rec in her younger years. Ronda loved to travel and spend time at the cottage on Pelican Lake in northern Wisconsin where she made lots of memories with friends and family. She enjoyed her “birthday club” get togethers with her friends.

Ronda collected antiques and was an excellent decorator who always had her home looking nice for the holidays and change of seasons. She was an avid gardener, having so many beautiful flowers and actually looked forward to pulling weeds. Ronda was especially proud of her hosta garden and even made sure to label them all. She was a generous person who loved her family very much.

Survivors include her brother, James “Jim” (Jayne) Radtke; brother-in-law, Jack Lozier; niece and nephew, Kaylene (Lance) Tischauser and Tom (Sandy) Lozier; great-nieces, Taylor (fiance Doug Dicka) Tischauser and McKenzie Tischauser; a great-great-niece, Charli Dicka; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Ronda was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sharon Lozier and Carole Radtke.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. to noon at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Marion in the church fellowship hall. Interment will take place at Greenleaf Cemetery in Marion.

Ronda’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Greentree, ThedaCare at Home Hospice including Kristy Crum, and to Rita and Walker White for being great neighbors and watching out for Ronda over the years.

The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory of Marion is assisting her family.
