Pulaski boys, girls 6th at conference meet

Shaw, Stedl lead Red Raiders

The Pulaski High School boys and girls cross-country teams each placed sixth at the Fox River Classic Conference Meet on Oct. 14 in Green Bay.

The boys team posted a score of 165 and were led by T.J. Shaw's fifth-place individual finish in 17 minutes, 2.3 seconds.

Connor Heezen (17:51.4) placed 23rd for the Red Raiders, while Nick Symons (18:49.8) was 41st and Connor Nooyen (18:54.3) took 42nd. Dayne Nowak (19:30.2) rounded out the team score with a 59th-place finish.

Olivia Stedl paced the Pulaski girls with a 21st-place finish in 20:56.2. Angela Opolka (21:04.8) claimed 23rd.

Trennedy Roffers (21:52.9), Grace Goodness (22:04.3) and Rachael Allen (22:06.5) capped the team score by placing 36th, 38th and 40th, respectively.

Girls team scores: 1. Notre Dame 52; 2. Green Bay Preble 60; 3. De Pere 100; 4. Bay Port 112; 5. Ashwaubenon 121; 6. Pulaski 149; 7. Sheboygan North 184; 8. Manitowoc Lincoln 193; 9. Sheboygan South 215.
