Packers roster moves (week 3)

The Green Bay Packers placed G Lane Taylor on injured reserve and released LB Greg Roberts from the practice squad.

The transactions were announced Tuesday by Brian Gutekunst, the general manager of the Packers.

Packers sign TE Griffin-Stewart to practice squad

The Packers signed TE Nakia Griffin-Stewart to the practice squad.

Griffin-Stewart (6-foot-5, 252 pounds) is a rookie out of the University of Pittsburgh that originally signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on May 1 and was released following training camp.

He spent the 2019 season as a grad transfer at Pitt after playing from 2015-18 at Rutgers. In his final collegiate season, Griffin-Stewart played in 13 games with 12 starts, registering 19 receptions for 185 yards (9.7 avg.) and a touchdown.

He will wear No. 80 for the Packers.

Packers announce roster moves and injury update

The Packers signed TE John Lovett and WR Darrius Shepherd to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated DL Billy Winn from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday.

The transactions were announced Saturday by Gutekunst.

Lovett (finger) has been added to the injury report, but his game status is unchanged for Sunday's game against New Orleans.
