Oconto Falls teams 6th at NEC Cross-Country Championship

The Oconto Falls High School boys and girls cross-country teams each placed sixth at the North Eastern Conference Championship on Thursday in Neenah.

The Oconto Falls boys posted a score of 163, while the girls tallied a 153.

Joe Adams led the Oconto Falls boys, placing fourth in 16 minutes, 56.23 seconds.

Braden Uelmen and Grant Yuma placed 32nd and 33rd for the Panthers with times of 19:47.69 and 19:54.22, respectively. Landon Budz (21:52.81) took 50th and Damien Reed (22:22.92) claimed 52nd.

Leading the Oconto Falls girls team was Hannah Ludemann, who placed 11th in 20:42.86.

Alexis Euclide (23:22.56) took 32nd for the Panthers, while Maddy Przbylski (24:29.68) came in 38th. Sydney Bell (25:00.47) and Aspen Canavera (25:52.16) rounded out the team score by finishing 41st and 43rd, respectively.

The Clintonville boys team placed seventh as a team, while the girls didn’t qualify for a team score.

Jesse Wilson led the boys team with a 14th-place finish in 17:32.93. Cody Carrico (19:54.47) was 34th and Brody Prill (21:17.72) 43rd. Mason Carrico (21:26.84) and Joshua Wilson (21:30.38) capped the team score.

Three Clintonville girls competed, with Jasmine Wilson (24:35.32) leading the way after placing 39th. Allison Smejkal (26:26.57) was 45th and Rebecca Pyatskowit (28:08.08) 49th.
