Oconto Falls golfers honored with state award

Four golfers from Oconto Falls High School have been recognized as 2024 Academic All-State honorees by the Wisconsin Golf Coaches Association.

They are Taylor Miller, Olivia Wagner, Kylie Thompson and Addison Kluth.

Students’ names are submitted by coaches and must meet the following criteria to be considered for this award:

• The student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better.

• The student-athlete must have participated in at least 75% of their team’s varsity competitions during the 2024 season.

• The student-athlete must be in good standing regarding athletic and school codes of conduct at their participating schools.

• The student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior.

There were 470 students from 122 high school honored this year. The average GPA of these students is 3.844.
