Oconto Falls boys basketball team defeats Menominee Indian

Jameson Beaman scores 29 points to lead the Oconto Falls boys basketball team to a 73-63 win over Menominee Indian on Nov. 21.

Beaman knocked in 5-of-11 from the 3-point line, pulled down seven rebounds and had two assists.

Alex Haines chipped in 15 points, and Jack Adler had 11.

Haiens and Brady Bursa each grabbed 10 boards, and each had three assists. Grayson Cahak led the team with three steals.

The Panthers topped their guests by five points in each half, leading 42-37 at halftime and outscoring Menominee Indian 31-26 in the second half.


Shawano’s boys basketball team opened the 2023-24 campaign with a 63-49 non-conference win over Lakeland Union on Nov. 21.

Logan Sipple led with 35 points. Six rebounds and five steals. Will Verkuilen added eight points, five steals and four assists, with Ryan Shanty dropping in seven points.


Marion won its season opener, as the Mustangs triumphed over Faith Christian Academy of Wausau, 42-27, on Nov. 21.
