Proceedings of Nov. 1

A five-day jury trial beginning March 2 was scheduled for Randel G. Dietze, 54, Gillett, who is charged with 11 counts of stalking and 11 counts of bail jumping, in connections with incidents that allegedly took place in April through October 2018. A status conference was scheduled for Jan. 6.

A three-day jury trial starting Feb. 25 was ordered for Chad C. Henden, 43, Oconto, who is charged with child abuse and strangulation-suffocation in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 4, 2018, and an alleged incident of bail jumping on May 28. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Feb. 17.

Abigail L. Mineau, 21, Oconto, was placed on three years probation for misdemeanor battery, in connection with an incident that occurred April 13, and felony bail jumping, in connection with an April 23 incident. Several related charges were dismissed but were read into the record. Before ordering probation, Michael T. Judge imposed and stayed a sentence of two years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision. Probation conditions include that Mineau must maintain absolute sobriety and undergo any assessments ordered by the Department of Corrections, following through on any recommendations.

Christopher L. Mueller, 29, Oconto, was placed on three years probation for possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred May 23. Before ordering probation Judge Michael T. Judge imposed and stayed a sentence of 18 months in prison followed by two years of extended supervision. Probation conditions include that Mueller maintain absolute sobriety and have no contact with anyone who uses, possesses, or sells illegal drugs.

Proceedings of Oct. 31

Salvatore M. Ortiz, 25, Oconto Falls, was placed on two years probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for fleeing an officer and misdemeanor resisting/obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred March 2. The probation includes six months in the county jail. Conditions include that Ortiz maintain absolute sobriety, with no possession or consumption of any alcohol, illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia. He was given credit for 86 days already served.

Steven L. Marcotte, 32, Abrams, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine in connection with an incident that occurred March 30. Four related misdemeanor charges were dismissed in a plea agreement but will be read into the record at sentencing. Judge Michael T. Judge ordered a presentence investigation and ordered sentencing for Dec. 18.

Christopher M. Earley, 45, Oconto, pleaded not guilty to second-degree sexual assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 16, 2018. A three-day jury trial was scheduled starting March 31 both in this case and other counts of injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and injury by use of vehicle with a prohibited alcohol content, in connection with a Jan. 26 crash. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for March 23.

Angelia M. VanHecke, 31, Oconto, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred May 23. A second charge – possession of paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methamphetamine – was dismissed in a plea agreement. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for Dec. 18 and ordered a presentence investigation.

Joshua B. Steadman, 27, Suring, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of recklessly endangering safety, two counts of battery to a police officer, and one count of strangulation-suffocation, along with five misdemeanors, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 25. Arraignment was scheduled for Nov. 14.

Proceedings of Oct. 30

Emerson K. Reed III, 33, Green Bay, pleaded no contest to a charge of misappropriating identity information to obtain money, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 24, 2018. Two related misdemeanor counts were dismissed but will be read into the record at sentencing. Judge Jay N. Conley ordered a presentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for Nov. 27.

Thomas L. Zeise, 32, Cecil, pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession with intent to deliver THC (second or subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 25. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Nov. 14.

A Feb. 25-26 jury trial was scheduled for Andy Miles Carpenter, 37, Menasha, who is charged with bail jumping, substantial battery intending bodily harm, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 2. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Feb. 17.

Caleb J. Gomez, 17, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on a charge of manufacturing THC with the intent to deliver, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 17. Arraignment was scheduled for Nov. 14.

Proceedings of Oct. 29

Derek Jay Klatt, 27, Oconto, pleaded guilty to a charge of hit and run involving great bodily harm, in connection with an incident that occurred June 19. Two other felony counts were dismissed but will be read into the record at sentencing, which Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled for Dec. 20. He also ordered a presentence investigation.
