Proceedings of Sept. 5

John Joseph Fischer, 25, Oconto, pleaded not guilty to charges of possession with intent to deliver amphetamine and possession of the materials to produce or store methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 7. Both counts are alleged to be a second or subsequent offense. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Oct. 17.

Proceedings of Sept. 4

Weston C. Gerrits, 19, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer in connection with an incident that occurred last Nov. 15. In a plea agreement, the charge was reduced from felony criminal damage to property. Judge Michael T. Judge sentenced Gerrits to 60 days in the county jail and two years probation with no contact with three individuals related to the case.

Proceedings of Sept. 3

John Osmon, 36, Oconto, pleaded no contest to third-degree sexual assault in connection with an incident that occurred in March 2011. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for Oct. 22 and ordered a presentence investigation.

Proceedings of Aug. 29

Joshua F. Gartner, 36, Oconto, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and two years of extended supervision for throwing or discharging bodily fluid at a public safety officer or prosecutor, in connection with an incident that occurred March 4. The term is consecutive to any sentence he has received in other cases. Judge Jay N. Conley ordered that Gartner undergo alcohol, drug and psychiatric treatment and maintain absolute sobriety during his sentence.

Proceedings of Aug. 23

Cody R. Ludwig, 27, Oconto, was placed on four years of probation after a six-year term of prison and extended supervision was imposed and stayed, for aggravated battery with intent to cause great bodily harm in connection with an incident that occurred Dec. 4. Conditions of probation include one year in the county jail, of which he had already served 263 days; he must pay restitution of $26,852.72 to the victim; he must maintain absolute sobriety and any weapons used in the incident were confiscated; and must undergo assessments to deal with anger and alcohol issues.

After a preliminary hearing Stephanie Lynn, 30, Oconto, was bound over on charges of manufacturing/delivering amphetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 19. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 12.

After a preliminary hearing Breanna B. List-Kimball, 27, Lena, was bound over on charges of burglary and misdemeanor theft and bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 3. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 12.

Jackson George O’Connell, 17, Green Bay, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of burglarious tools and misdemeanor criminal damage to property and criminal trespass, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 7. Arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 17.

Proceedings of Aug. 22

Jesse James Peterson, 37, Berlin, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, strangulation-suffocation, and false imprisonment, as well as misdemeanor battery and operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 14. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 12.

Proceedings of Aug. 21

Nick J. VandenHoven, 30, Green Bay, pleaded no contest to charges of second-degree reckless endangerment and misdemeanor criminal trespass, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 12, 2018. Judge Jay N. Conley scheduled sentencing for Oct. 9 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

Katelynn J. Osmon, 23, Oconto, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of forgery-uttering, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 18, and misdemeanor theft, in connection with an alleged Dec. 1 incident. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 12.

Derek Jay Klatt, 27, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of hit and run involving great bodily harm, reckless driving and causing great bodily harm, and knowingly operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and causing great bodily harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 19. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 12.

After a preliminary hearing Ashton James Tiger Hendricks, 22, Oconto Falls, was bound over on charges of first-degree reckless endangerment, strangulation-suffocation, and misdemeanor battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 21. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 12.
