Proceedings of Aug. 14

A four-day trial starting Jan. 7 was scheduled for Chasity M. Denny, 29, Oconto, on charges of first-degree reckless homicide and the manufacture with intent to deliver cocaine, in connection with the Sept. 12 death of Jeffrey Dean Pecha, as well as possession with intent to deliver amphetamine and misdemeanor possession of cocaine, in connection with an alleged April 29 incident. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 20.

After a preliminary hearing Joseph J. Brandt, 39, Lena, was bound over on charges of false imprisonment, bail jumping, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with a domestic incident that allegedly occurred May 29. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 24.

Proceedings of Aug. 7

Kenny D. Carter, 24, Oconto Falls, pleaded guilty to a charges of causing a child under 13 to view a sexual act, in connection with an incident that occurred Dec. 18, 2018. Seven other charges are expected to be dismissed as part of a plea agreement at sentencing, which is scheduled for Sept. 25. Judge Michael T. Judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

Douglas Lee Kluth, 66, Green Bay, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (10th or subsequent offense) in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 27. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for Sept. 19 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

David P. Woosencraft, 32, Abrams, waived his right to a preliminary hearing, was bound over, and pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 15. A status conference was scheduled for Sept. 12.

Randy L. Brempell, 48, Lena, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methamphetamine and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle while his license is revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 28. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 12.

Tanya M. Pasek, 29, Suring, pleaded not guilty to charges of bail jumping and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 12, and three counts of bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 27. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Sept. 11.

Proceedings of Aug. 6

Krystal I. Hardy, 37, Pound, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred April 5. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for Sept. 17 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
