Proceedings of Nov. 3

Bond was set at $10,000 cash for Melvin Sterling Zarda, 28, Crandon, after he was charged with two counts of battery or threat to a law officer, two counts of felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, resisting or obstructing and officer, battery and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 30. His initial appearance was adjourned until Nov. 17.

Proceedings of Nov. 1

Kari Lynn Renard, 37, Oconto, pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs and misdemeanor possession of THC, in connection with an incident that occurred May 15. The first two counts were amended from felonies in a plea agreement. Judge Michael T. Judge placed her on two years’ probation.

Levi James Mineau, 23, Green Bay, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to fleeing an officer on his motorcycle in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 19. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 15.

Proceedings of Oct. 31

Casey J. Kelly, 35, Oconto, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident that occurred March 20, 2021. Several felony counts were dismissed in a plea agreement. Judge Jay N. Conley sentenced Kelly to two years of probation, including six months in jail with work-release privileges. He was given credit for 20 days already served.

After a preliminary hearing, Timothy J. Pearson, 38, Oconto, was bound over on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment and bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 21. He was already awaiting trial on charges of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 9, 2021. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 15.

Conley ruled that Michael C. Noffke, 30, Gillett, is now competent to proceed with the case charging him with two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, two counts of aggravated battery, one count of burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon, and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, in connection with the alleged stabbing of two men at a home in Gillett on Dec. 16, 2021. Conley scheduled a preliminary hearing for Nov. 7.

After a preliminary hearing, Kent E. Aide, 59, Wausaukee, was bound over and pleaded not guilty to the manufacture, distribution or delivery of THC and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 28. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Jan. 12.
