Proceedings of Oct. 14

• Eric Peter VanDuyse, 42, Green Bay, was sentenced to four years in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision, for burglary, in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 9, 2021. Judge Michael T. Judge ruled him eligible for the Substance Abuse Program, which may lead to early release upon successful completion. During extended supervision, VanDuyse must maintain absolute sobriety and complete all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by his corrections agent.

• Jacob T. Wenzel, 21, Oconto, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of bail jumping in connection with an incident that occurred June 9. Judge scheduled sentencing for Dec. 20 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• After a preliminary hearing, Brian S. Greetan, 41, Oconto Falls, was bound over and pleaded not guilty to charges of taking and driving a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 11. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 15.

• Bond was set at $25,000 cash for Carl H. Strege, 58, Oshkosh, after he was charged with fleeing an officer in a vehicle and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of cocaine and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (third offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 14. His initial appearance was adjourned until Nov. 17.

• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Michael A. Holtger, 30, Oconto, after he was charged with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 14. His initial appearance was adjourned until Nov. 17.

Proceedings of Oct. 13

• A bench warrant was issued for Neal Charles Krukowski, 64, Wausaukee, after he failed to appear for a court hearing on a charge of manufacture, distribution or delivery of THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 28.

• A bench warrant was issued for for Ricardo Prieto Gomez, 24, Green Bay, after failed to appear for a hearing on a charge of misappropriating ID information to obtain money, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 5.

• Rachel E. Van, 39, Green Bay, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 7. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 15.

• Travis Lee Thomack, 34, De Pere, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 6. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 15.

• Dominik Osmon, 21, Oconto, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 11. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 15.

• Robert L. McDermid Jr., 45, Oconto Falls, pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second and subsequent offense), possession of narcotic drugs, three counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 1. A bail/bond hearing was scheduled for Dec. 13.

• Kevin D. Damp, 39, Shawano, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to the manufacture and delivery of fentanyl (second and subsequent offense) and second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 24. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 12.

Proceedings of Oct. 12

• An Oct. 18-19 jury trial was postponed for Harrison J. Cain, 19, Oconto, while Oconto County waits for Gov. Tony Evers to appoint a new district attorney to handle the trial. Cain is charged second-degree sexual assault of an intoxicated victim and misdemeanor sexual intercourse with a child age 15 or older, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 9, 2021. A status conference was scheduled for Dec. 8.

• Steven J. Julien, 60, Cedar Grove, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to attempted battery or threat to a law officer, as well as misdemeanor counts of operating a firearm while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 8. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 9.

Proceedings of Oct. 11

• Conditions of the four-year prison term of Nathan S. Borkovec, 37, formerly of Lena, were amended to make him eligible for the Substance Abuse Program after he has served two years of the sentence, which was handed down Aug. 17, 2021. The program allows for the possibility of early release after successful completion. He is serving time, to be followed by two years of extended supervision, for fleeing an officer, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense) and misdemeanor charges of operating while revoked, disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer, for an incident that occurred May 15, 2021.

• Tanner Michael Johnson, 25, Suamico, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense), in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 22. Judge Jay N. Conley revoked Johnson’s bond, scheduled sentencing for Nov. 22 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• James T. Carriveau, 64, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to intimidating a domestic violence victim and misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 6. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Dec. 15.

• Tambra A. Hrabik, 43, Oconto, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 23. Arraignment was scheduled for Nov. 17.

Proceedings of Oct. 10

• A bench warrant was issued for Trevon Alexander Harper, 22, Green Bay, after he failed to appear for a motion hearing into whether to revoke his Volunteers in Probation status. He was placed in the VIP program after his conviction for a misdemeanor escape juvenile ordinance violation and operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked on Aug. 23, 2019. In addition to authorizing the bench warrant, Judge granted the motion to revoke Harper’s probation.

• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Austin J. Hoffman, 17, Suring, after he was charged with child abuse-recklessly causing harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 7. His initial appearance was adjourned until Nov. 17.
