Proceedings of Sept. 6

Santally Aarika Kwasny, 26, Green Bay, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to theft by false representation (more than $100,000) and issuance of worthless checks, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 30, 2021. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for Oct. 13.

Robert L. McDermid Jr., 44, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second and subsequent offense), possession of narcotic drugs, three counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 1. Arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 13.

Mark F. Derouin, 52, Crivitz, pleaded guilty to possession of amphetamine in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 14. A charge of maintaining a drug trafficking place was dismissed but read into the record. Judge Jay N. Conley scheduled sentencing for Nov. 14 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

A jury trial was rescheduled to Nov. 8 for Richard H. Deinert, 75, Fremont, on charges of aggravated battery of an elderly person, misdemeanor battery and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 18, 2019. A final pre-trial conference was set for Oct. 24.

Bond was set at $15,000 cash for Michael James Bullock, 39, Suring, after he was charged with invasion of privacy with a surveillance device and capturing an intimate representation of a victim younger than 18, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 6. His initial appearance was adjourned until Sept. 6.

Proceedings of Aug. 29

Timothy J. Urbanek, 58, Ralph, Michigan, was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision, for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense), operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited PAC (fifth or sixth offense) and misdemeanor operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that occurred Dec. 4, 2019. He was given credit for 110 days already served. Oconto County Circuit Court Judge Michael T. Judge levied fines and court costs of $4,555.50. Among other conditions of his extended supervision, Urbanek must enter into, participate in and successfully complete any assessments, evaluations and/or treatment programs as directed by the Department of Corrections.

Zachary R. Clarke, 27, a Green Bay man currently serving a prison term at Redgranite Correctional Institution, was sentenced to an additional three years in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision, for possession with intent to distribute amphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred Jan. 12. Judge ruled that Clarke is eligible for the Substance Abuse Program after serving 2 1/2 years, a program that can lead to early release upon successful completion. Among other conditions of his extended supervision, Clarke must maintain absolute sobriety, undergo an alcohol and other drug abuse assessment and follow through with all recommended treatment.

Letisha M. Peters, 42, Neopit, was sentenced to two years in prison, followed by two years of extended supervision, for two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that occurred July 9, 2021. The sentence is consecutive to a federal sentence imposed earlier. Judge Jay N. Conley gave Peters credit for 110 days already served. During her extended supervision, she must maintain absolute sobriety, undergo an alcohol and other drug abuse assessment and complete any other programs deemed appropriate by her corrections agent.

Bond was set at $3,500 cash for Faithe Emaleigh Nicole Parins, 21, Pulaski, after she was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 27. Her initial appearance was adjourned until Sept. 12. The proceedings postponed Parins’ sentence for methamphetamine charges in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 31, 2021. Judge rescheduled sentencing for the same time as her next appearance on the new charges.

Amy M. Harris, 36, Oconto Falls, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on a charge of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 5. Arraignment was scheduled for Sept. 15.
