Proceedings of April 26

• William Jay Reynolds, 24, Cecil, was placed on two years probation after Judge Michael Judge withheld sentencing for felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor charge of battery, in connection with an incident that occurred March 16. Judge ordered probation conditions including 60 days in the county jail.

• Andrew E. Golla, 32, Green Bay, pleaded no contest to strangulation and suffocation and misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred July 27. Judge scheduled sentencing for June 24 and ordered a pre-trial hearing.

• A June 18-19 jury trial was scheduled for Edward Alexander Lewis, 51, Oconto Falls, who faces charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, bail jumping, maintaining a drug trafficking place and misdemeanor possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 7, 2023. Judge scheduled a bail/bond hearing for May 2 and a final pre-trial conference for June 10.

• Buzz A. Anwash, 39, Wabeno, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (seventh, eighth or ninth offense), misdemeanor operating while revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 28. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 20.

• Miranda M. Kuik, 32, Lena, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty o chronic neglect of a child with the consequence of bodily harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 1. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Jun3 13.

• Joel S. Willmann, 30, Sobieski, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to two counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 5. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.

Proceedings of April 25

• Sean Michael Schulz, 32, Suring, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, followed by 18 months of extended supervision, for possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of THC, in connection with an incident that occurred May 31, 2023. Judge ruled that the sentence is consecutive to any other sentence he is currently serving and gave him credit for 63 days already served. He also ruled that Schulz is eligible for the Substance Abuse Program, which can lead to early release upon successful completion.

• Benjamin D.J. Zirbel, 35, Crystal Falls, Michigan, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to charges of receiving stolen property, possession of burglarious tools and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 8; possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, fleeing an officer in a vehicle causing bodily harm and/or property damage, possession with intent to deliver THC, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), possession of methamphetamine, felony bail jumping, misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, and four forfeiture offenses of reckless driving, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 4; manufacturing with intent to deliver methamphetamine, manufacturing with intent to deliver THC, felony bail jumping and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 1, 2023; possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 9; and possession with intent to deliver THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 11. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for July 16.

• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Joey E. Kingsley, 43, Oconto, after he was charged with resisting an officer and causing substantial bodily harm and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 23. Judge adjourned his initial appearance to May 2.

Proceedings of April 24

• Christopher Scott Tilkens, 51, Green Bay, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 23, 2023. The charges were amended from a felony count in a plea agreement. Judge withheld sentencing and placed Tilkens on one year of probation with conditions.

• Avery Nancy-Morning Star Nooyen, 19, Ashwaubenon, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs, four counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of possession of THC, possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 30. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.

Proceedings of April 22

• Michael Lee Vandenheuvel, 28, Oconto, pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment, and misdemeanor charges of battery, criminal damage to property, making contact after a domestic abuse arrest and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 24. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.

• James P. Samuelson, 52, Suring, pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 17. Judge Jay Conley scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.

• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Austin J. Born, 26, Denmark, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 20. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until May 2.
