Proceedings of March 22

Brad A. Vickman, 51, Abrams, pleaded no contest to manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine, two counts of manufacturing and delivering amphetamine, and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with incidents that occurred April 10, May 5, June 1, June 23, 2023; possession with intent to deliver amphetamine and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred June 16, 2021; and felony bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 5, 2021. Judge Michael Judge scheduled sentencing for May 20 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

Javier Lashun Dixon, 30, Sobieski, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to victim intimidation and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 20, 2023. He also faces charges of strangulation and suffocation, two counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and a misdemeanor charge of battery, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 20, 2023. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for May 2.

Jenny L. Tennant, 45, Manawa, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to misappropriating ID information, two misdemeanor counts of possessing illegal obtained prescription drugs, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and prostitution, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 6. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for April 11.

Bond was set at $50,000 cash for Aaron John Husted, 37, Gillett, after he was charged with three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting arrest, fleeing an officer in a vehicle, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 20. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until April 11.

Proceedings of March 21

Douglas James Van Boxtel, 59, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 6. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.

Bond was set at $2,500 cash for Tessa R. Shepard, 35, Wabeno, after she was charged with misappropriating ID information, possession of narcotic drugs, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating while revoked and violating an ignition interlock order, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 19. Court Commissioner Peggy Miller adjourned her initial appearance until April 11.

Proceedings of March 20

Shana Lynn Courchaine, 26, Green Bay, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 13. Courchaine’s probation and a deferred judgment agreement were revoked May 15, 2023, on a previous conviction or possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that occurred March 10, 2022. Judge scheduled sentencing for June 4 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

Wesley J. Kobylarczyk, 51, Sobieski, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred May 14, 2022. The charges were amended from felonies in a plea agreement. Judge levied fines and costs and approved a deferred judgment agreement.

Michael D. Wood, 36, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to felony bail jumping and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 25. He was awaiting trial on charges of first-degree reckless endangerment, strangulation-suffocation, false imprisonment, substantial battery, and misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 1, 2022. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for May 2.

Proceedings of March 19

Joseph A. Reignier, 23, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident that occurred April 22, 2022. In a plea agreement the state moved to dismiss a felony charge that had been scheduled to go to trial that day. Judge withheld sentencing and placed Reignier on 18 months of probation with conditions.

A July 24 jury trial was scheduled for Mark A. Gerow, 61, Lakewood, on charges of strangulation and suffocation, false imprisonment, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 15, 2023. Judge Jay Conley scheduled a final pre-trial conference for July 8. Gerow is also charged with possession of narcotic drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 31. Prosecutors said they would proceed to trial on the earlier charges first.

Proceedings of March 18

John J. McDonald, 43, Oconto, pleaded no contest to a felony charge of child abuse intentionally causing harm and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred July 2, 2021. Judge approved a deferred judgment agreement on the felony count and placed McDonald on one year of probation after imposing and staying a one-year county jail sentence.

Jessica Leah Haumschild, 40, Oconto, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 24, 2021. Judge approved a deferred judgment agreement for the felony and placed her on one year of probation after withholding sentencing for the misdemeanor.

Jacob S. Barber, 36, Crivitz, was placed on two years probation after Judge withheld sentencing for possession of narcotic drugs, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 31. Conditions of probation include 200 days in the county jail, which he has already served since his arrest.

An Aug. 22-23 jury trial was scheduled for Danielle Kristie Marcotte, 37, Oconto Falls, on three counts of child abuse intentionally causing harm and five misdemeanor counts of child neglect, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 7. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for Aug. 5.

Michael Myron Laroque, 31, Seymour, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to eluding an officer in a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor count of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (second offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 17, 2023. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.

Michael Ravanelli Perkins, 39, Gillett, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to misappropriating identity information to avoid penalty, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 15. In another case, he faces charges of bodily harm to a health care worker or family and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 17, 2023. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.

Douglas Arnold Brown, 62, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and misdemeanor counts of an ignition interlock violation and operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 5. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for July 18.

Desiree Ellise Medina, 33, Green Bay, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver amphetamine or methamphetamine, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), possession with intent to deliver THC, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 25, 2023. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for June 13.
