Proceedings of Feb. 16

• Bond was set at $75,000 cash for John J. Hanna, 37, Oconto, after he was charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer in a vehicle and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 6. Judge Michael Judge said the bail amount includes previous charges that include three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of battery or threat to a law officer, failure to comply with an officer’s attempt to take him into custody, eluding an officer in a vehicle and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 4, 2023. The judge scheduled a status conference in both cases for April 11.

• Bond was set at $25,000 cash for Michael Robert Rilling, 45, Lena, after he was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13, repeated physical abuse of a child, chronic neglect of a child with the consequence of bodily harm and misdemeanor child neglect, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred from 2020 to 2023. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until March 14.

• Bond was set at $10,000 cash for Rilling’s co-defendant, Miranda M. Kuik, 32, Lena, who was charged with chronic neglect of a child with the consequence of bodily harm, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 1. Judge adjourned her initial appearance until March 14.

• Justin James Huncosky, 19, Suring, was placed on four years of probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for third-degree sexual assault of a child and a misdemeanor count of exposing himself to a child, in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 1, 2023. Judge Jay Conley set probation conditions that include nine to 12 months in the county jail.

• Joaquin Julian Alba, 29, Gillett, was placed on two years of probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 11, and misdemeanor counts of endangering safety by the use of a dangerous weapon, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred April 17, 2023. Judge Michael Judge gave Alba credit for 213 days already served in the county jail.

• Bond was set at $500 cash for Marc Allen Monfort, 33, Oconto Falls, after he was charged with child abuse intentionally causing harm and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 14. Judge adjourned his initial appearance until March 14.

Proceedings of Feb. 15

• A three-day jury trial was scheduled to begin July 31 for Michael James Bullock, 40, Suring, on charges of two counts repeated sexual assault of the same child, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred in 2010, and further charges of invasion of privacy with a surveillance device and capturing an intimate representation of a victim younger than 18, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 6, 2022. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for July 15 and a status conference for March 20.

• A June 18-19 jury trial was scheduled for George E. Gernon, 40, Little Suamico, on charges of possession of narcotic drugs, possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 6, 2022. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for June 10.

• An Aug. 27-29 jury trial was scheduled for Peter J. VanHulle, 35, Oconto, on a charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 23. Judge scheduled a final pre-trial conference for July 8.

• Greyson Gregory Sweval, 45, Marquette, Michigan, pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 17, 2023. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for April 15.

• A $2,500 signature bond was set for Justin A. Biersteker, 43, Little Suamico, after he was charged with strangulation and suffocation and misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 19. Judge scheduled a preliminary hearing for March 8.

• Nicole M. Harris, 40, Oconto Falls, waived her extradition to Texas, where she is wanted on a fugitive warrant. Judge had set a $45,000 cash bond during a Feb. 13 appearance.

Proceedings of Feb. 13

• Nathan R. Neldner, 31, an Oconto Falls man serving time at Oshkosh Correctional Institution, pleaded no contest to charges of burglary and three counts of theft in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 27, 2021, as well as a charge of felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that occurred June 4, 2022. Judge scheduled sentencing for April 30.

• Austin Paul Hayes, 30, Summerville, South Carolina, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of amphetamine/LSD/psilocin (second or subsequent offense), possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 18. Conley scheduled a status conference for May 16.

Proceedings of Feb. 12

• Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Rochelle L Dulaney, 37, Oconto, after she was charged with taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, possession of methamphetamine, as well as misdemeanor counts of bail jumping, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 10. Judge adjourned her initial appearance until March 14.

• Bond was set at $3,000 cash for Adam J. Martens, 31, Oconto, after he was charged with felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 14. On Feb. 15, Conley scheduled a preliminary hearing for March 1.
