• Craig A. Pederson, 67, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and misdemeanor operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 5. Judge Michael Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Jan. 11.

Proceedings of Nov. 8

• A jury found Brian S. Greetan, 42, Oconto Falls, guilty of taking and driving a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and but not guilty of a misdemeanor charge of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred June 11, 2022. Judge scheduled sentencing for Jan. 16 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

Proceedings of Nov. 7

• Jason C. Demerath, 46, Oconto, was placed on two years of probation with conditions for possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred March 13. Judge included 120 days in county jail but suspended that sentence for use at the discretion of Demerath’s probation agent.

• Sarah Irene DeBenedetto, 40, Oconto, was placed on two years of probation with conditions including five months in the county jail for possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 3. Judge gave her credit for 50 days already served.

• A Feb. 13-14 jury trial was scheduled for Jessica Leah Haumschild, 39, Oconto, on charges of possession with intent to deliver amphetamine, manufacture and delivery of amphetamine, second-degree recklessly endangering safety and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 24, 2021. Judge set a final pre-trial conference for Feb. 1.

• Terrence Lee Ludwig, 63, Suring, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 8. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Dec. 1.

Proceedings of Nov. 6

• John J. Neider, 48, Appleton, was placed on two years of probation with conditions including 10 months in jail for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense), in connection with an incident that occurred June 20, 2022. Judge gave him credit for 47 days already served and revoked Neider’s license for 36 months.

• Jennifer Lynn Clement, 42, Oneida, pleaded no contest to possession of narcotic drugs, in connection with an incident that occurred May 3. Judge scheduled sentencing for Jan. 9 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

• A bench warrant was issued for Clayton R. Frehse, 21, Suring, after he failed to appear for a final pre-trial conference on charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and three misdemeanor counts of bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 10, 2022, and two counts of felony bail jumping, in connection with an alleged Oct. 2, 2022, incident. The Dec. 5-6 jury trial was taken off the calendar.

• Kelly S. Urbanek, 61, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial on two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child and one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13. Judge Jay Conley scheduled arraignment for Dec. 14.

• Richard A. Bayer Sr., 63, Gillett, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 4. Conley scheduled a pre-trial conference for Dec. 14.

• Caiden R. Whitehead, 17, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to fleeing an officer in a vehicle and second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 20. Judge scheduled a pre-trial conference for Dec. 12.

• Bond was set at $20,000 cash for Brent A. Olson, 30, Crivitz, after he was charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 18. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Dec. 14.

• Bond was set at $3,000 cash for Justin John Ault, 34, Sobieski, after he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense) and misdemeanor operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 5. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Nov. 16.

• Bond was set at $2,500 cash for Randy L. Brempell, 52, Lena, after he was charged with theft of movable property valued between $10,000 and $100,000, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 3. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Nov. 16.

• Bond was set at $500 cash for Christopher A. Baier, 40, Oconto, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 4. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Dec. 14.

• Bond was set at $500 cash for James P. Linz, 40, Oconto, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 4. Conley adjourned his initial appearance until Nov. 16.
