Bond was set at $15,000 cash for Mackenzie E. Lee, 26, Three Lakes, after he was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, bail jumping and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 10. His initial appearance was adjourned until Sept. 17.

Bond was set at $10,000 cash for Shawnee Marie Chapman, 26, Lac du Flambeau, after she was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 10. Her initial appearance was adjourned until Sept. 17.

Bond was set at $10,000 cash for Nathan John Lloyd, 20, Waupaca, after he was charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 25. Should he make bail, Judge Jay N. Conley ordered that Lloyd have no contact with three specific individuals or social contact of any kind with any minor females except family members. His initial appearance was adjourned until Sept. 17.

Bond was set at $750 cash for Christopher J. Joski, 20, New Franken, who is charged with fleeing an officer in a vehicle, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 16. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Sept. 15.

A Jan. 5-6 jury trial was scheduled for Bruce J. Carr, 66, Oconto Falls, on charges of possession with intent to deliver THC and maintaining a drug place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 8, 2019, and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 5, 2019. A final pretrial hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21.

Casey J. Grams, 31, Oconto Falls, pleaded not guilty to a charge of issuing worthless checks, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 9. A pretrial conference was scheduled for Oct. 15.

Tracey Lee Bartlett, 58, Oconto, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 5. A pretrial conference was scheduled for Oct. 15.

Travis George Knipp, 39, Oconto Falls, pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 1. A pretrial conference was scheduled for Sept. 17.

Daniel Roy Roeder Jr., 47, Oconto, pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 10. A pretrial conference was scheduled for Nov. 12.

Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Robert J. Haanpaa, 33, Marinette, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine (second and subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 10. The balance of his initial appearance was scheduled for Sept. 17.

A bench warrant was issued for James F. King, 19, Suring, after he failed to appear for a pretrial conference on charges of fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle and two counts of misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 20.

A bench warrant was authorized for Melanie L. Nelson, 54, Oconto, after she failed to appear for a pretrial conference on a charge of misappropriating ID information to obtain money, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred in Oconto on Nov. 29.

A bench warrant was authorized for Tallie Marie Sheldon, 22, Menominee, Michigan, after she failed to make her initial appearance for second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 12.

A bench warrant was issued for Jason Kenneth Curtis, 25, Pound, after he again failed to make his initial court appearance on a charge of taking an driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 28.

Proceedings of Aug. 12

Richard H. Deinert, 72, Fremont, pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated battery of an elderly person, misdemeanor battery and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 18. A pretrial conference was scheduled for Sept. 17.

Peter W. Berres, 56, Milwaukee, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to charges of resisting arrest, misdemeanor restricting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 5. A jury trial was scheduled for Jan. 20, with a final pretrial conference Jan. 11.

Proceedings of Aug. 11

A Feb. 16-18 jury trial was scheduled for Christopher M. Earley, 45, Oconto, who is charged with second-degree sexual assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 16, 2018. A final pretrial conference was scheduled for Jan. 25. Judge Jay N. Conley ruled that a trial in another case — alleging injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and injury by use of vehicle with a prohibited alcohol content, in connection with a Jan. 26, 2019, crash — will be rescheduled after that trial.

Bond was set at $75,000 cash for Robert J. Schneider, 46, Suring, who is charged with second-degree reckless endangering safety, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a short-barreled rifle, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of bail jumping and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 6. Conditions of bail include that he have no contact with Marsha Cassell. Judge Michael T. Judge ruled that the bail order also applies to an earlier case, in which Schneider is charged with felony bail jumping and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in an alleged Feb. 29 incident. The balance of his initial appearance on the new charges was scheduled for Sept. 17.

Bond was set at $7,500 cash for Marsha A. Cassell, 42, Suring, who is charged with possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor bail jumping, resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 6. Conditions of bail include that she have no contact with Robert Schneider. Her initial appearance was adjourned until Sept. 17.

Proceedings of Aug. 10

A jury trial was rescheduled to Feb. 16-17 for Jared Ronald Barber, 26, Lena, who is charged with victim intimidation, strangulation-suffocation and misdemeanor battery, criminal damage to property, two counts criminal damage to property and four counts disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 24. A final pretrial conference was scheduled for Jan. 25.

Proceedings of Aug. 7

A Jan. 26 jury trial was scheduled for Zebullin Augustus Fountain, 21, Lena, who is charged with repeated sexual assault of the same child, in connection with incidents that allegedly occurred in 2011 and 2012. A final pretrial conference was scheduled for Jan. 15.
