Navarino tops Bonduel in final Dairyland regular season game

The Navarino Rangers earned a 2-1 victory over the Bonduel Broncos on Tuesday in Navarino in the Dairyland League’s final regular season game.

Trailing 1-0, Navarino drew three walks in the bottom of the fifth inning. Kendal Lecker, who finished with two hits, scored on a wild pitch before Bailey Dingeldein crossed home on a Ryan Boettcher sacrifice flyout for the go-ahead run.

Paul Sellner earned the win for Navarino after striking out five batters over five innings. Matt Krause worked the final four innings to seal the win.

Jack Reinke had two hits for Bonduel. J.C. Reinke drove in Chase Reinke in the third inning. Wyatt Reinke took the loss on the mound after allowing two runs across 5 1/3 innings, while Jack Reinke tossed the final 2 2/3 innings.

The win gave Navarino a 6-3 record, which is tied for second in the league. Bonduel slipped to 5-4 overall.
