Nature center schedules annual fundraiser

SHAWANO — Navarino Nature Center will hold its 30th annual fundraising banquet Sept. 19 at The Gathering, 2600 E. Richmond St., Shawano.

Social hour will start at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. The event will feature many raffles — including electronics, baskets, bucket raffle, gun, freezer, 50/50, etc. — as well as silent and live auctions.

All of the proceeds from the annual banquet will be used to support daily operations and programming at the center, which includes school and public programs and improvements to the facility and grounds.

Tickets are $45 per person or $80 per couple. Banquet sponsor cost is $250, and a table for eight is $400.
