By:

Nancy J. Mueller, 86, of Clintonville, passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2022 at the ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano.

Nancy was born on Feb. 6, 1936, in Shawano as the daughter of the late Nelson and Esther (Habeck) Baril. In 1954, she graduated from Shawano High School and on April 16, 1955, she married Daroll Mueller at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. The couple lived the remainder of their life in Clintonville where they became members of St. Martin Lutheran Church. At St. Martin, Nancy served as a member of the ladies aid for many years, was a reliable contact for the prayer chain, a welcoming greeter, and volunteered in various other church activities.

Nancy and Daroll always seemed to be together; enjoying many bus trips across the midwest. Often, you would find Nancy reading a good book in their car while Daroll caught the night’s dinner along the edge of a good fishing spot. She was an excellent homemaker and also an active member of the Clintonville community and held the office of president of the Waupaca County Homemakers.

Survivors include her children, Kurt (Sharon) Mueller, Glenn Mueller, Valarie (Loran) Susor, and Kent (Cindy) Mueller; grandchildren, Erin (Andy) Scott, Corey (Cassie) Mueller, Bradley (Emily) Mueller and Benjamin (Abby) Susor; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, and Ephram Mueller, Cecelia Mueller, and Rheya and Chase Scott; sisters-in-law, Lana (Roger) Buelow and Carol Baril; and numerous other relatives.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daroll, in 2017; and four siblings.

Nancy’s funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville with the Rev. Jason Zobel officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery in the Town of Larrabee. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to St. Martin Lutheran Church.

A quote from Nancy: ”I am reunited once again with my high school sweetheart and loving husband of 62 years, Daroll. I’m in the grace and presence of Jesus, all of my pain and suffering is finally gone.”
