Marlene A. Jagiello

Marlene A. Jagiello, 82, Lena, went to the Lord peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. She was born March 27, 1937, in Coleman to the late Adolph and Helen (Krejcarek) Durocher. On July 14, 1956, Marlene was united in marriage to Don Jagiello at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena, in a double wedding with her sister, Sharon, and Don’s brother, Ron. She lived on their dairy farm where she raised seven children. In earlier years, Marlene was employed as a telephone operator and later as a teacher’s aide. She also worked for many years for the Green Bay Packers as a concierge. She was a lifelong member of St. Charles, now St. Anne Catholic Parish. Marlene loved playing cards with family, going to the cabin and traveling.

Survivors include four children, Brenda (Jim) Barker, Cle Elum, Washington, Duane (Sherry) Jagiello, Lena, Bruce (Debbie) Jagiello, Lena, Marla (Troy) Wagner, Coleman; two extended sons, Brad (Janet) Glime, Lena, Daniel (Janet) Glime, Coleman; a daughter-in-law, Cheri Jagiello, Bellingham, Washington; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sharon Jagiello, Lena, Verla (Alan) Christopherson, Oconto Falls, Linn (Greg) Schmeisser, Mansfield, Texas; a sister-in-law, Carol (Lyle) Demmith, Lena; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; a daughter, Adell; a son, Dean; a brother, Doug Durocher; a brother-in-law, Ronald and her parents.

Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 438 W. Main St., Lena, from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2019. Visitation continued on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 221 E. Main St., Lena, from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Mass. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Lena.
