Marjorie Mae Zillmer

Marjorie Mae Zillmer passed away peacefully at the age of 93 with her family by her side on Oct. 9, 2024.

Marjorie Reminger Zillmer was born in Leopolis on Feb. 16, 1931. On June 11, 1949, she married Edwin “Bud” Zillmer in Belle Plaine.

They moved to Waupun where she was an amazing mother raising five children and working numerous jobs until she retired.

Until she passed, she lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she loved family visits and going for rides in the mountains, playing slot machines and playing cards with friends and family. She was a true Packers and NASCAR fan.

She is survived by her children, Carol Jansen, Beverly (Dennis) Heft, Michael (Rita) Zillmer and Donald Zillmer; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Reminger; and sister Judy Kazda.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin “Bud” Zillmer; her daughter, Marsha Christian; her parents, Joseph and Lena Reminger; two sisters, Janet Erdman and Della Schaefer; and a brother, John Reminger.

The funeral will be held at First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota St., Oshkosh, on Nov. 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. with lunch to follow.

The inurnment will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a memorial be set up in her name.
