Local casino partially opens for business

North Star Mohican Casino Resort in Bowler opened Tuesday with limited capacity and restricted hours, according to a posting on their Facebook page.

For this initial opening, no smoking will be allowed in the casino. The facility will close at 3 a.m. for deep cleaning and reopen at 7 a.m.

All guests will be allowed to enter through the main entrance or the east entrance near the bingo hall.

A required, non-invasive health screen will occur at these entrances, including a temperature check. Guests will be required to wear a mask upon entering the facility and will need to wear it at all times, except while eating or drinking.

All table games and bingo are temporarily closed.
