Library sponsors interactive movie at Arlington Park

Shawano County Library is trying to bring families together Aug. 10 at Arlington Park, 300 N. Humphrey Circle, Shawano, for a free, interactive outdoor movie.

The library will show “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” around 8:45 p.m.

Interactive movies are a fun and active way to experience movies, according to Kristie Hauer, library director. An interactive experience happens when a group of people watch a movie together and do certain actions at specific times during the movie, she said.

Those who arrive early will receive activity bags filled with props to use during the movie. The movie and activity bags are sponsored by Friends of Shawano County Libraries, Inc.
