Clintonville 15

Bonduel 5 (5 inn.)

Bonduel was unable to keep up with Clintonville in a season-ending loss on July 24 in Clintonville.

Bonduel scored all five of its runs in the opening three innings. Carson Robaidek, Garrett Engel, Noah Beilfuss and Cole Anderson all reached base twice for the Grizzlies.

Mason Bohm started for Bonduel and pitched the first 1⅔ innings before Anderson got the next six outs. Jack Johnson then worked ⅔ of an inning. Clintonville hit the 10-run rule in the bottom of the fifth frame to end the contest.

With Clintonville's win, and only Denmark remaining in the regional, Clintonville qualified for state. Denmark is hosting the Class A state tournament, so it gets an automatic bid. The two teams will meet again July 25 in Clintonville to determine a regional champion.

Denmark 8

Oconto Falls 2

Oconto Falls was eliminated from regional play after a second loss to Denmark on July 24 in Clintonville. Oconto Falls finished 1-2 in its three regional games.

Denmark scored five runs in the sixth to break a tie game.

Graeson Pankratz scored Oconto Falls' first run in the second inning before Jake Sager scored in the third to give the team a lead. Sager, Logan Kramer and Jaxson Ducharme all reached base twice.

Braden Uelmen pitched into the fifth inning for Oconto Falls. Kramer finished up the contest on the hill.

Bonduel 12

Little Chute 4

Bonduel avoided elimination with a convincing win over Little Chute on July 23 in Clintonville.

Brett Margelofsky reached base four times and scored three runs for Bonduel. Jack Johnson, Cole Anderson and Garrett Engel each scored two runs. Bonduel scored twice in the second inning, once in the third and three times in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings.

Isaac Boldt picked up the win after pitching the first 5⅓ innings. He allowed three runs in the first before settling in. Anderson worked the final 1⅔ innings.

Oconto Falls 3

Wrightstown 1 (9 inn.)

Oconto Falls kept its season alive by taking down Wrightstown in nine innings on July 23 in Clintonville.

Tucker Bouche pitched the first eight innings for Oconto Falls, not allowing any runs. He struck out seven batters. Jake Sager pitched the ninth inning.

Grant Bouche gave Oconto Falls the lead with a single that scored Logan Kramer. Tucker Bouche followed with a two-RBI single.

Clintonville 1

Bonduel 0

Bonduel was handed its first loss in regional play after dropping a pitcher’s duel to Clintonville on July 22 in Clintonville.

Noah Beilfuss was dealt the tough loss on the mound despite allowing just one run in the sixth. He struck out eight batters across six innings.

Bonduel only had five runners reach base in the contest. Isaac Boldt reached base twice for the Grizzlies.

Bonduel 10

Mishicot 0 (5 inn.)

Bonduel opened the Class A Clintonville Regional with a shutout win over Mishicot on July 21 in Clintonville.

Bonduel’s Mason Bohm surrendered just one hit across five innings on the mound. He struck out seven batters and needed just 50 pitches to get through the game. Mishicot’s lone hit came in the third inning, but Bonduel eliminated the baserunner, so Bohm faced the minimum.

Noah Beilfuss drove in three runs to lead Bonduel at the plate. Isaac Boldt and Easton Reinke drove in a pair each, while Jack Johnson also earned a RBI after walking with the bases loaded. Garrett Engel, Johnson and Beilfuss scored two runs each.

Bonduel scored three runs in the first and two runs in the second and third innings before a three-run fourth capped the scoring.

Denmark 2

Oconto Falls 0

Oconto Falls came up short in a pitcher’s duel against Denmark on July 21 in Clintonville.

Braden Uelmen started for Oconto Falls and pitched the first four innings. He allowed a run in the first and second innings before working scoreless third and fourth frames. He struck out three batters.

Logan Kramer pitched the final three innings for Oconto Falls. He struck out four batters and allowed just two baserunners to reach.

Oconto Falls had a chance to score in the third inning after three straight hits, but Alex Waschbisch was thrown out at home after a hit by Jake Sager.
