John Paige
John “J.P.” Paige, 33, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Sunday morning, Jan. 21, 2024, at home.
He was born Jan. 8, 1991, at Landstuhl Army Hospital in Germany. Because of his mother’s career in the U.S. Air Force, John moved back to the U.S. at the age of 2 years to Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. He also lived at Air Force bases in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina and Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. J.P. then moved with his family to Crystal Falls, Michigan, and graduated from Forest Park High School with the class of 2010.
John was employed at Grady Foundry in Kingsford, managed fast food restaurants and was a welder at Marinette Marine. He then moved to Walton Beach, Florida, where he worked at the Crab Trap. John returned to Wisconsin and was employed at ST Paper in Oconto Falls.
As someone who liked to cook, he enjoyed food and being the life of the party. J.P. will be fondly remembered for his free spirit, kind heart, making others laugh and willingness to help others.
Survivors are his mother, Donelle (Kevin) Lefebvre, Oconto Falls; his son, Alaric Wesson Paige; four siblings, C.J. (Austen) Greene, Florida, Billy Paige, Oconto Falls, Samantha (Brad) Zima, Green Bay, and Ben Paige, Michigan; his nieces and nephews of whom he was so fond of, Audrina, Carter and Gunner Greene, and River Zima.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dolores McMullen; and special uncle, Jeff Craig.
Visitation will be held after noon Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until the time of service at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
