Jerome R. Krueger

Jerome “Jerry” R. Krueger passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano.

Jerome Russell Krueger was born Feb. 28, 1943, to Alvin “Jake” and Gladys (Olson) Krueger. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Bricco on Sept. 12, 1963, at the St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville. The couple operated a farm and mink ranch for a number of years; however, Jerry spent most of his life working as an electrician at the Little Rapids Paper Mill in Shawano. Jerry and JoAnn enjoyed camping and traveling around the country in their RV over the years. Jerry loved being outdoors — especially hunting and spending time with his dog, Dozer.

Survivors include sons, Jason (Meghan) Krueger and Jesse (Savannah) Krueger; six grandchildren, Caiden, Kai, Kaleb (Savannah), Trystan, Shyra and Reyna; three great-grandchildren, Lavinia, Guinevere and Aldrik; and siblings, Rosie (David) Harney, Wally “Bud” (Sally) Krueger and Sandy (Duane) Mitchel.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, JoAnn, in 2016; and numerous other family members and friends.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, 299 S. Main St., Clintonville, with visitation starting at 9 a.m. and a prayer service conducted by the Rev. Brian Crocker beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in the Town of Matteson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established by Jerry’s family. They would like to thank the staff at Aster Assisted Living in Clintonville as well as the entire ThedaCare team in Shawano for all of their assistance and kindness.
