It’s three in a row for Bonduel golf team

Central Wisconsin Conference Tournament

Bonduel’s Colin Margelofsky won the fourth match at Cedar Springs Golf Course with a season- and career-best score of 73. The Bears had five of the top six golfers out of 54 total.

Bonduel won the meet with a school team record of 306.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood placed second with a 342. Marion scored a 383, and Menominee Indian/Gresham had a 464.

Following Margelofsky’s top score were teammates Jake Dreyer with a 76, Reed Luepke with a 78 and Colin Fischer with a 79. Jaxon Bogacz also had a 79.

For the Chargers, August Barke led his team with a 78. He was joined by Owen Schultz with an 86, George Seegmiller with an 87 and Joey Seegmiller with a 91. Jaden Clark scored a 95.

Samuel Gueths had a 94 to lead the Mustangs. He was followed by Brady Malueg’s 96, Jack Schoen’s 96 and Collin Grogan’s 97. Edward Schoen also had a 97.

For Menominee Indian/Gresham, it was River Wheelock with 110, Gryffin Hoffman with 114, and Frankie Allery and Jefferson Hoffman each with 120. Kaidyen Zaitz also had a 120.

Bonduel took first place for its third straight conference championship.

Bonduel also had all five players earn all conference rewards.

Margelofsky and Dreyer tied for first overall, Fischer was third overall and Luepke placed fifth overall. All were named first team all-conference.

Bogacz finished sixth overall, which earned him second team all-conference.

Bay Conference Championship

Junior Blake Knope carded an 86 to lead the Shawano golf team at the Bay Conference Championship at Wander Springs Golf Course in Greenleaf.

The Hawks placed fifth a 381.

Joining Knope were senior Tristan Miller with a 90, junior Jakob Stuhr with a 96 and junior Noah LaRok with a 109.
