Inez Muraski

Inez Mae Muraski, 76, of Arpin, formerly of Shawano, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family, on Friday, July 30, 2021. She was born on Aug. 5, 1944, to the late Harry and Irene (Schaufberger) Carter in Shawano. She graduated from Shawano High School with the Class of 1962. She also attended nursing school in Oshkosh.

Inez was united in marriage to Bernard Muraski in Shawano on May 7, 1966. He preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 2012. She worked in customer service at CRI until she retired.

Inez was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Booster Club and the Belle Plaine Homemakers club. She enjoyed sewing, reading, baking, birdwatching, feeding the birds, tending to her flowers and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Inez is survived by her children, Greg (April) Muraski, of Frederick, Maryland, Brian (Cathy) Muraski, of Arpin, Sara (William) Ziegelbauer, of Janesville, and Jason (Michele) Muraski, of Arvada, Colorado; her son-in-law, Bill Watson, of Janesville; her grandchildren, Karrah (David), Hillary (Tucker), Jeremy, Joshua, Jeremy, Jonathan, Mary, Faith, Tajmera, Samantha, Dillon, Caitlyn, Makenzie and Andrew; her great-grandchildren, Addi, Bear and Nova; her sister, Shirley Grab, of Antigo. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard; her sister, Lucille Thiel; and her daughter, Laura Watson.

A funeral service for Inez was held Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Deacon Jim Lonick officiating. Entombment was at Sacred Heart Mausoleum following services.
