BOYS SOCCER
Pulaski 4
Wausau East 1
Pulaski improved to 5-1 on the season after taking down Wausau East in a nonconference match on Sept. 2 in Wausau.
Austin Decker and Ryan Drafz each scored for Pulaski in the first half, with Ben Uelmen assisting on Decker’s score.
Lucas Stubbe scored an unassisted goal in the second half for the Red Raiders before Hudson Schultz scored off an assist from Luke Hanstedt to make it 4-0.
Pulaski goalie Mason Baker made two saves in the contest. The Red Raiders outshot their opponent 12-2.
FOOTBALL
Sevastopol 42
Gillett 22
Gillett dropped a Peninsula Conference 8-player game to Sevastopol on Sept. 2 in Gillett.
Jesse DeBauch threw for 336 yards and two touchdowns for Gillett. Brandon DeBauch caught 10 passes for 248 yards and two scores, while Aydin Franti caught seven passes for 70 yards. Colten Sturm rushed for the team’s other touchdown.
Tyler Slatky was credited with three tackles for losses and two sacks to lead the Tigers’ defense. Brandon DeBauch had seven tackles and a sack.
Gillett outgained Sevastopol 409-331, but turned the ball over three times in the contest.
Three Lakes 74
Bowler/Gresham 6
Bowler/Gresham lost a nonconference game to Three Lakes on Sept. 2 in Bowler.
Bowler/Gresham scored first on a 32-yard pass from Emmitt Kietlinski to Beau Brunner before Three Lakes took over.
Kietlinski passed for 178 yards in the contest, completing 18 of his 23 passes. Brunner had 13 receptions for 128 yards.
Austin Shepherd led the co-op's defense with five tackles.
