Oconto Falls 3

Merrill 0

Sixth-seeded Oconto Falls upset third-seeded Merrill in a Division 2 regional semifinal match on Oct. 21 in Merrill. Oconto Falls won by scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-21.

Emmie Magnin tallied 13 attack kills to lead Oconto Falls. Grace Oninski added nine attack kills, while Brailyn St. Louis and Hailey Peitersen had five each.

Oninski was credited with seven total blocks, while Tess Maggio had four. Peitersen led the Panthers with 26 assists and Madison Uelmen totaled a team-leading 14 digs. Quinn Eisch had 11 digs, while Peitersen chipped in eight digs.

The Panthers will take on second-seeded Winneconne in the regional final at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 in Winneconne.

Witt-Birn 3

Amherst 0

Third-seeded Wittenberg-Birnamwood swept sixth-seeded Amherst by scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-19 in a Division 3 regional semifinal match on Oct. 21 in Wittenberg.

London Metropulos posted 18 total kills to lead Witt-Birn, while Reese Rogowski had 14 attack kills and 12 digs. Payton Foster contributed 16 assists and Kiara Deruchowski served 14 times on the night and added two aces.

Lilly Betry served 15 times and had two aces while also providing 14 assists. Jadalynn Davids tallied 12 digs and three aces. Halle Beverdorf was credited with four block kills, while Layla Huffman and Kaydence Burclaw had three each.

The Chargers will travel to take on second-seeded Peshtigo in the regional final at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23.

Gresham 3

Wausaukee 0

Fourth-seeded Gresham eased to a 25-19, 25-17, 25-11 win over fifth-seeded Wausaukee in a Division 4 regional semifinal match on Oct. 21 in Gresham.

Valarie Cerveny stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with 15 service points, 14 kills and six aces for Gresham. Hannah Cerveny added 28 assists and 11 digs, while Chloe Bohl had nine kills.

Maddie Haffner finished the match with 12 digs and nine service points for the Wildcats. Josie Cerveny totaled nine service points and nine digs, while Kalayla Tucker had 13 digs.

The Wildcats will head to top-seeded Three Lakes at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 for a regional final clash.

Bonduel 3

St. Mary Catholic 1

Fourth-seeded Bonduel earned a hard-fought 26-24, 20-25, 25-23, 25-21 Division 3 regional semifinal win over fifth-seeded St. Mary Catholic on Oct. 21 in Bonduel.

Allaina Robaidek tallied 15 attack kills and 17 digs for Bonduel, while Hailee Thompson had 31 assists and eight digs. Macy Niles led the team with 24 digs, while Nakiyah Henning had 17 and Brenna Hertzfeldt 14.

Kylie Hoffman provided seven attack kills, four block assists and a solo block for the Bears. Hertzfeldt had eight attack kills, while Henning had six and Audrey Weier tallied four.

Bonduel will battle No. 1 Oconto in the regional final at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 in Oconto.

Bay Port 3

Pulaski 1

No. 10 Pulaski was topped by scores of 25-12, 19-25, 25-20, 25-19 in a Division 1 regional semifinal match against No. 7 Bay Port on Oct. 21 in Green Bay.

Bay Port will face No. 2 Kimberly in a regional final on Oct. 23.

Winneconne 3

Shawano 1

Seventh-seeded Shawano fell short in a Division 2 regional semifinal match against No. 2 Winneconne on Oct. 21 in Winneconne. The hosts won by scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-7.

Winneconne will host Oconto Falls in a regional final match at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23.

Wabeno/Laona 3

Suring 0

Seventh-seeded Suring dropped a Division 4 regional semifinal match to No. 2 Wabeno/Laona on Oct. 21 in Wabeno, losing by scores of 25-6, 25-17, 25-7.

Wabeno/Laona will host No. 6 Florence in a regional final match on Oct. 23.

Shawano 1

Sixth-seeded Shawano’s upset bid came up just short in a Division 3 regional semifinal match against No. 3 Mosinee on Oct. 21 in Mosinee.

Mosinee will travel to face No. 2 Waupaca in a regional final on Oct. 23.
