Gresham 3
Wild Rose 0
Gresham capped its regular season with a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover road sweep of Wild Rose on Thursday. Gresham won by scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-20.
Jayden Jensen finished with seven kills for Gresham, while Kalayla Tucker had 14 digs.
Hannah Cerveny stuffed the stat sheet for the visitors, posting 13 assists, nine service points and 14 digs. Karisa Nietzer led the team with 15 total kills.
Little Chute 3
Clintonville 0
Clintonville was swept in a North Eastern Conference match in Little Chute on Thursday.
Autumn Steede led Clintonville with six attack kills, while Jordan Lehman had five total kills and three digs.
Josie Colla tallied four attack kills for the Truckers, while Lindsy Carpenter had 19 assists and three digs.
Antigo 3
Witt-Birn 1
Wittenberg-Birnamwood came up short in a nonconference road match to Antigo on Thursday. Antigo won by scores of 25-12, 25-12, 13-25, 25-15.
Abi Fraaza posted 19 total kills for the Chargers in the loss. Reese Rogowski had eight attack kills, McKenna Metropulos tallied 25 assists and Elizabeth Muscha posted five digs.
"It wasn't the way I wanted to end the regular season and head into playoffs," said Witt-Birn coach Becky Rew. "We have many things to clean up for regionals."
Almond-Bancroft 3
Tigerton 1
Tigerton dropped a CWC crossover road match to Almond-Bancroft on Thursday. A-B won by scores of 25-13, 20-25, 29-27, 25-15.
Ladia Block tallied 23 digs for Tigerton, while Abby Swartz had 13 digs and nine service points. Savannah Swartz contributed 11 kills and eight digs.
Skyler Hauser totaled 12 digs and four kills for the Tigers, while Adrienne Brady and Elizabeth Robbins had eight assists each. Brady also posted 10 digs, while Robbins had nine service points and seven digs.
BOYS SOCCER
Menasha 4
Shawano 1
Shawano came up short in a Bay Conference Tournament match against Menasha on Thursday in Shawano.
Michael Klement scored Shawano's goal in the 72nd minute. JJ Pyatskowit made 12 saves while defending the net.
Shawano will take on Green Bay West at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Calder Stadium in Menasha.
