Gresham 3

Stockbridge 0

Gresham eased past Stockbridge in a nonconference match Tuesday in Gresham. The Wildcats won by scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-19.

Gresham was celebrating its five seniors — Brooklyn Hoffman, Jayden Jensen, Jada James, Karisa Nietzer and Monique Terrio — and each one of the athletes played a role in the victory.

After a tight first set, Nietzer carried Gresham during a dominant second set. Tied at 17 in the third set, Nietzer tallied a couple kills while Hannah Cerveny provided strong serving to help the hosts go on a 6-0 run to pull away.

Menominee Indian 3

Tigerton 2

Menominee Indian earned a five-set Central Wisconsin Conference crossover home win over Tigerton on Tuesday. The Eagles won by scores of 21-25, 25-21, 22-25, 28-26, 17-15.

Savannah Swartz totaled 18 digs, 19 attack kills, four blocks, 13 service points and four aces to lead Tigerton. Adrienne Brady tallied 20 assists, 11 digs, 13 service points and six attack kills, while Elizabeth Robbins had 15 digs, 12 service points and nine assists.

Tigerton’s Ladia Block contributed 19 digs and six attack kills. Skyler Hauser added 10 digs and six attack kills. Abby Swartz chipped in 14 digs, and Colleen Smith had five attack kills.

Bowler 3

Almond-Bancroft 1

Bowler rallied from a set down for a CWC crossover road win over Almond-Bancroft on Tuesday. Bowler won by scores of 17-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-8.

Ireland DeRoos tallied four attack kills and nine aces for Bowler, while Kayla Pecore had nine attack kills and 13 digs. Tynea Johnson had 18 digs, while McKayla Putnam had six.

Brooke Thiex totaled 11 attack kills, 12 assists, five digs and three aces, while Alyssa Strassburg had 10 assists and seven digs. Morgan Paiser served four aces.
