Shawano 36

Fifth-seeded Shawano struggled to get things rolling offensively in a Division 2 regional semifinal playoff loss to fourth-seeded New London on Friday in New London.

Carter Weisnicht powered Shawano on offense with 18 points. Nick Sherman chipped in 11 points.

New London will travel to take on top-seeded Hortonville in Saturday’s regional final.

Northland Pines 58

Clintonville 55

Fourth-seeded Clintonville was upset by fifth-seeded Northland Pines in a Division 3 regional semifinal on Friday in Clintonville.

Northland Pines will travel to take on top-seeded Wrightstown on Saturday for a regional final game.

Wabeno/Laona 84

Gresham 61

Gresham, a No. 10 seed, couldn’t pull a second straight playoff upset, dropping a Division 5 regional semifinal game to second-seeded Wabeno/Laona on Friday in Wabeno.

Wabeno/Laona will take on third-seeded Florence in a regional final game on Saturday.

Lourdes Academy 91

Bonduel 61

Seventh-seeded Bonduel couldn’t hang with second-seeded Lourdes Academy in a Division 4 regional semifinal matchup on Friday in Oshkosh.

The Bears trailed by just nine at halftime before being outscored 48-29 in the second half. Lourdes Academy knocked down 12 3-pointers in the contest.

Noah Beilfuss knocked down three 3-pointers and led Bonduel with 14 points. Carson Robaidek and Cole Letter each added 12 points, while Justin Bahr had seven.

Lourdes Academy will host third-seeded Shiocton in a regional final on Saturday.

Wrightstown 70

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 39

Eighth-seeded Wittenberg-Birnamwood fell short in a Division 3 regional semifinal clash with top-seeded Wrightstown on Friday in Wrightstown.

Brendan Resch hit three 3-pointers and led Witt-Birn with 13 points. Ben Wesolowski chipped in seven points.

The Chargers were held to just 13 points in the first half.

Wrightstown will host fifth-seeded Northland Pines in Saturday’s regional title game.
