BOYS BASKETBALL

Gresham 82

Tigerton 20

Four Gresham players scored in double figures to power the team to a Central Wisconsin Conference-North Division win over Tigerton on Friday in Gresham.

Lukas Pecore hit six of Gresham’s 14 3-pointers on his way to a 22-point night. Waylon Welch hit four 3-pointers and had 14 points. Belasaire Vele added 12 points, while Raven Bennett hit three triples and tallied 11 points.

Vele also tallied five rebounds, six assists and four steals. Pecore and Jake Hoffman grabbed six boards each.

Justin Knaup and Allen Jobe were Tigerton’s top scorers, scoring four points each.

Bonduel 72

Weyauwega-Fremont 52

Bonduel eased to a CWC-East victory over Weyauwega-Fremont on Friday in Bonduel.

Cole Letter led the way for Bonduel, hitting four 3-pointers and eight free throws during a 24-point outing. Carson Robaidek added 12 points.

Garrett Engel and Noah Beilfuss knocked down two 3-pointers each, tallying 10 and eight points, respectively. All nine of Reece Stoltenow’s points came on 3-pointers.

Bonduel hit 12 3-pointers as a team.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 68

Menominee Indian 62

The trio of Jack Fraaza, Austin Gibson and Brendan Resch led Wittenberg-Birnamwood to a CWC-East victory over Menominee Indian on Friday in Keshena.

Fraaza led the way with 19 points, converting seven shots from the field and four free throws. Gibson knocked down five shots and seven free throws to finish with 18 points. Resch hit three 3-pointers and tallied 15 points.

Norman Kakwitch led Menominee Indian with 20 points, while Tiger Dixon added 11 points. Ashton Corn, Mason Frechette and Wendell Waukau each tallied eight points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Shawano 68

Green Bay West 39

Shawano cruised to a Bay win over Green Bay West on Friday in Shawano.

Taylor Johnson buried six 3-pointers and scored 22 points to lead Shawano on offense. The Hawks made 11 3-pointers in the contest.

Avery Dreier added 12 points, while Brianna Wright had nine. Elizabeth Kary chipped in with seven points.

Shawano outscored Green Bay West 40-14 in the second half.
