BOYS BASKETBALL

Witt-Birn 69

Menominee Indian 54

Wittenberg-Birnamwood toppled Menominee Indian in a Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division matchup on Jan. 29 in Keshena.

Jack Fraaza led a balanced Witt-Birn offensive attack with 18 points, while Simon Schairer tallied 17 points. Ben Wesolowski chipped in 11 points.

Witt-Birn led 34-14 at halftime.

Isaiah Moss tallied 14 points to pace Menominee Indian. Andre Corn added nine points, while Bryce Dixon contributed eight points.

Bonduel 73

Amherst 48

Bonduel cruised to a CWC-East victory over Amherst on Jan. 29 in Bonduel.

Noah Weier hit five 3-pointers and scored 26 points to power Bonduel. Carson Robaidek added 18 points, while Jon Sell had seven.

Bonduel converted 16 of its 20 free throw attempts on the night.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Gresham 60

Marion 13

Gresham eased to a CWC-North victory over Marion on Jan. 29 in Marion.

Hannah Cerveny led a balance Gresham offensive attack with 13 points, while Kaylee Bohm tallied 12 points.

Valarie Cerveny and Makayla Belongia each chipped in 10 points for the Wildcats.

Kelsey Zillmer had nine of Marion's points.

Manawa 63

Tigerton 34

Tigerton dropped a CWC-North clash against Manawa on Jan. 29 in Tigerton.

Adrienne Brady posted 10 points and four steals for Tigerton, while Savannah Swartz had 10 rebounds, eight points and four blocks. Abby Swartz grabbed 12 rebounds.

The Tigers trailed 28-26 at halftime.
