Kaleb Lowney knocked down key shots to help Shawano escape with a win over Appleton North on Jan. 2 in Shawano.

Lowney hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with about 90 seconds to play before making two free throws to make it a three-point game with six seconds left. Appleton North had a shot rim out at the buzzer.

Lowney led the Hawks with 10 points. Jacob Landon, Ethan Schwitzer and Brandon Reed all added eight points for Shawano.
