BOYS BASKETBALL

Clintonville 67

Oconto Falls 55

Clintonville used a 18-2 run in the second half to pull away from Oconto Falls in a North Eastern Conference matchup on Friday in Oconto Falls.

Aiden Polzin and Nathan Morse led Clintonville on the court, tallying 23 and 19 points, respectively. Cameron Mauel chipped in 15 points.

Morse hit three 3-pointers, while Polzin knocked down two. Clintonville was also efficient from the free-throw line, making 15 of its 21 attempts.

Bonduel 67

Menominee Indian 57

Bonduel outscored Menominee Indian 42-34 in the second half to claim a Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division battle on Friday in Bonduel.

Cole Letter scored 19 points to lead Bonduel, tallying eight of his points from the free-throw line. Carson Robaidek knocked down two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points, while all nine of Noah Beilfuss' points came on 3-pointers. Justin Bahr chipped in with eight points.

Bonduel had nine players score in the contest, with eight of those players posting four or more points.

Norman Kakwitch hit four triples and led Menominee Indian with 19 points. Menom Powless hit two 3s and added 12 points. Tiger Dixon contributed eight points, while Ashton Corn had seven.

Shawano 72

Green Bay East 62

Shawano rode a big first half to a Bay Conference win over Green Bay East on Friday in Shawano. The Hawks led 42-27 at halftime.

Carter Weisnicht scored 16 first-half points and finished with 21 for the game. Shawano hit seven first-half 3-pointers.

Nick Sherman scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half. Joe Mente chipped in eight points, while Ethan Schwitzer and Jacob Landon each provided seven points.

HOCKEY

Shawano co-op 7

Fox Cities 3

Ryan Wegenke powered the Shawano co-op to a road win over Fox Cities on Friday in Neenah. Wegenke scored four goals and assisted on another.

Leland Jones, Andrew Puissant and Johnny Dillenburg all scored a goal each. Puissant was credited with five assists.

Goalie Caleb Davids made 25 saves.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Bowler 44

Marion 14

Bowler eased past Marion in a CWC-North matchup on Friday in Marion.

Kayla Pecore scored 20 points to lead Bowler.

Kyla Zillmer tallied six points for Marion, while Kelsey Zillmer had five. Kyla Zillmer finished with seven steals, Kelsey Zillmer grabbed five rebounds and Tessa Brei had three blocks.

"We just couldn’t get opportunities in the game for shots because of Bowler's aggressive defense," said Marion coach Brad Fischer. "We need to be more aggressive in getting shots up in order to get our team score up. Our ball security is still poor against teams that like to pressure us in the half court."
