GIRLS BASKETBALL

Menominee Indian 59

Menominee Indian's Mariah Fish reached the 1,000-point milestone for her high school career during the team's Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division win over Weyauwega-Fremont on Feb. 10 in Keshena.

Fish finished with 14 points, while also tallying three assists.

Kaysha Wilber led Menominee Indian with 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists, while Ayanna Smith had three 3-point makes and 10 points. Emma Komanekin chipped in nine points.

Ashlee Corn totaled eight rebounds and four assists for the Eagles.

Bonduel 69

Manawa 27

Bonduel rolled past Manawa in a CWC-East matchup on Feb. 10 in Bonduel. The Bears led 40-9 at halftime.

Hailey Zernicke totaled 15 points for Bonduel, while Tatum Sporisky had 10 points.

Audrey Weier pulled down seven rebounds for Bonduel. Hailee Thompson tallied five steals, while Ella Hischke dished out six assists.

Lena 45

Gresham 34

Lena knocked off Gresham in a nonconference game on Feb. 10 in Gresham.

Whitney Potter scored 15 points to pace Lena offensively. Eva Brooks tallied 11 points, while Alabama Lambert had six.

Chloe Bohl and Maddie Haffner scored nine points each for Gresham. Lexi Baddmoccosin-Barnes added eight points.

Witt-Birn 55

Amherst 47

Wittenberg-Birnamwood defeated Amherst in a CWC-East clash on Feb. 10 in Wittenberg.

Rory Salvesen recorded 16 points for Witt-Birn, while Reese Rogowski had 14 points and three assists.

Faith Resch tallied 12 points and three steals for the Chargers. Melaina Granquist added nine points and eight boards.

Faith Christian 44

Tigerton 42 (OT)

Tigerton dropped a nonconference game to Faith Christian Academy in overtime on Feb. 10 in Wausau.

Abby Swartz posted 24 points, 15 rebounds and six steals for Tigerton.

Lillian Welch chipped in eight points for the Tigers.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Gillett 67

Niagara 49

Gillett topped Niagara in a Marinette & Oconto Conference matchup on Feb. 10 in Niagara.

Austin VandeCorput tallied 16 points for Gillett, while Jesse DeBauch added 15.

Ben Matczak and Brandon DeBauch each chipped in 10 points to the Tigers' balanced attack. Aydin Franti totaled nine points.

Pulaski 81

Marinette 63

Pulaski cruised to a nonconference win over Marinette on Feb. 10 in Pulaski.

Derek Shaw hit three 3-pointers and led Pulaski with 26 points.

Pulaski's Brady Wotruba tallied 13 points, while Gatlin Robaidek had 12. Dylan Dorn added nine points, while Colin Schultz had seven and Ethan Schmidt chipped in six.
