Witt-Birn wins Battle of the Fox

Wittenberg-Birnamwood had five wrestlers place first to help the team win the Battle of the Fox on Saturday in Appleton.

Damien Wudtke (106), Pierson Potrykus (113), Chad Moegenburg (126), Bryze Zoromski (138) and David Gauderman (195) were the Witt-Birn wrestlers that placed first after undefeated days on the mat.

Witt-Birn's Dakotah Olson (120), Chase Kitsemble (145), Wyatt Esker (152), Will Urquhart (160), Larken Betry (170) and Allen Uttecht (285) lost just once on their way to second-place finishes.

Kyle Linke (182) placed third for the Chargers after going 3-2.
