Shawano topped West De Pere in a Bay Conference match on Aug. 31 in Shawano.

The Hawks scored all three of their goals in the first five minutes of action, with Ethan Schwitzer scoring twice and Jackson Boucher once.

Julian Perez assisted on one of Schwitzer's goals.

Madeline Diefenthaler and Paige Vanderveren (No. 1), Mikalah Due and Olivia Shelly and Lucy Piczkowski and Carlee Elliott (No. 3) secured the doubles wins.

Lena rallied from a set down to defeat Gillett in a Marinette & Oconto Conference match on Aug. 31 in Lena. The Wildcats won by scores of 13-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-16.

Melanie Cops finished with 12 total kills to lead Lena on the court. Makynna Herald totaled 20 assists, while Peyton Dorow-Wagner had six aces and four attack kills.

Natalie McNurlen chipped in three aces and three attack kills for the Wildcats, while Breanna Koslowsky had four attack kills.

Menominee Indian 3

Bowler 0

Bowler earned a 25-12, 25-23, 25-15 victory over Bowler in a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover match on Aug. 31 in Keshena.

Morgan Paiser tallied eight attack kills, eight digs and four aces for Bowler, while Brandi Spencer had 10 assists. Shianne Pike and Bertina Dodge recorded nine digs each.

Oconto Falls battled North Eastern Conference foe Freedom until the final point, but was unable to take any sets in a match on Aug. 31 in Oconto Falls. Freedom won by scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-21.

Morgan Kluth led the Panthers with nine attack kills. Quinn Eisch recorded a team-leading 12 digs, while Hailey Peitersen finished with 21 assists.
