Suring 3

Crivitz 2

Suring earned a comeback win over Crivitz in a Marinette & Oconto Conference five-set thriller on Aug. 30 in Crivitz. Suring won by scores of 25-20, 26-28, 19-25, 25-19, 15-9.

Christine Sleeter led Suring with 15 attack kills, five digs, four assists and four block kills in the contest.

McKenzie Chesterfield contributed eight combined kills for the Eagles, while Macie Reed had 14 assists, three attack kills and five aces. Bailey Stuart served four aces.

Lena 3

Gillett 2

Lena took down Gillett in another five-set M&O clash on Aug. 30 in Gillett, winning by scores of 26-24, 17-25, 25-16, 24-26, 15-12.

Natalie McNurlen tallied 16 attack kills to power Lena, while Peyton Dorow had seven attack kills. Makynna Herald recorded 26 assists, Claire Brooks served 10 aces and Alabama Lambert had six digs.

Halle Fisher led Gillett with 12 kills and 10 digs. Hailey Elsner added nine kills, while Cilena Guns tallied 11 digs, five kills and three aces. Reece Franti finished with 14 digs, while Madison VanHaren had 18 digs.

Menominee Indian 3

Kewaunee 0

Menominee Indian swept Kewaunee in a nonconference match on Aug. 30 in Keshena.

The Eagles won by scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-15.

BOYS SOCCER

Pulaski 5

Green Bay East 0

Pulaski eased to a nonconference win over Green Bay East on Aug. 30 in Pulaski.

Chase Ambrosius gave Pulaski the lead with an unassisted goal in the 10th minute. Austin Decker also scored in the first half, with Harrison Gwidt earning the assist.

Ryan Drafz scored the first goal of the second half off a Dylan Carley assist. Hayden Burkel then scored an unassisted goal before Hudson Schultz netted the final goal off an Austin Lipsey assist.

Pulaski used two goalies in the shutout win. Mason Baker had three saves, while Gaven Haldemann had one.

Pulaski 3

Pulaski dropped a Fox River Classic Conference match to Sheboygan North on Aug. 30 in Pulaski.

Ayla Groteluschen earned Pulaski's lone singles win. The doubles teams of Madeline Diefenthaler and Ruth Krause (No. 1) and Mikalah Due and Hailey Jansen (No. 3) also earned wins.
