Shawano takes 2nd at Bay meet

Shawano tallied a team score of 189, just a shot back of West De Pere at the third Bay Conference tour stop on Aug. 23 at Golden Sands Golf Course in Cecil.

Sophia Eggert posted a nine-hole round of 44 to lead the Hawks and finish as the medalist. Teghan Kristof and Braylyn Babino each carded 48s, while Riley Dreier fired a 49 and Elizabeth Kary a 61.

Bonduel placed seventh among eight qualifying teams, posting its best team score of the season with a 221.

Sarah Garside tied for fourth among all golfers after posting a round of 47. Ava Pleshek recorded a round of 50, while Thea Tauchen shot a 54. Raina Dworniczak (70) and Kerry O'Harrow (71) filled out the five-golfer team.
