Bonduel 21, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 19

Bonduel rallied from a 19-point halftime deficit to top Wittenberg-Birnamwood in Bonduel on Friday. The Bears, who were playing in their last Central Wisconsin Conference-Large Division game ever, improved to 6-2 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

Max Sokolski scored touchdowns on runs of 1 and 11 yards to bring Bonduel within four points in the second half. Max Marohl then scored on a 25-yard run to put the Bears up by two with about two minutes to go in the third quarter.

Sokolski finished with 114 rushing yards, while Marohl had 46. Cole Letter passed for 79 yards, with Isaac Banker hauling in three passes for 46 yards. Dylan Springborn picked off a pass to set up the game-winning score.

Witt-Birn, which is now 6-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play, took the lead after Austin Gibson returned the opening kickoff 84 yards for a score. The Chargers other two touchdowns came right before halftime, with Logan Balliett connecting with Jack Fraaza on a 24-yard touchdown pass before Balliett hit Gibson for a 29-yard TD pass.

Ben Wesolowski and Kaden Schmidt had first-half interceptions for Witt-Birn to halt promising Bonduel drives.

Marion/Tigerton 32, Port Edwards 18

Marion/Tigerton guaranteed itself a winning record after earning a home win over Port Edwards on Friday. Marion/Tigerton is now 5-3 overall and will end the season traveling to take on Tri-County on Friday.

Ethan Scheef threw for 71 yards and two touchdowns to Austin Hoffmann. Cayden Schoen rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown, while Scheef rushed for 66 yards and another touchdown.

Hoffmann intercepted two passes, while Scheef had one for the co-op. Charles Schweitzer had a big sack on fourth down for the Thundercatz.

Menasha 34, Shawano 19

Shawano came up short in a Bay Conference clash at Menasha on Friday. The Hawks fell to 4-4 overall and 3-4 in conference play. To become playoff-eligible, Shawano must defeat Green Bay West in week nine.

Shawano's Brayden Dickelman rushed for a pair of touchdowns, while Nick Sherman scored a touchdown after scooping up a fumble.

Denmark 55, Clintonville 6

Clintonville scored first, but Denmark responded with the next 55 points to claim the North Eastern Conference clash in Denmark on Thursday. The Truckers fell to 1-7 overall and 0-7 in the NEC.

Dylan Danforth caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Braiden Behnke to put Clintonville ahead in the first quarter. Behnke finished with 69 passing yards, while Danforth led the team with 28 receiving yards.

Clintonville was outgained 332-101 in the contest. The Truckers rushed for just 32 yards and were also picked off twice.

Tri-County 51, Bowler/Gresham 0

Bowler/Gresham couldn’t slow down Tri-County in Plainfield on Friday. Bowler/Gresham slipped to 0-5 overall.

Daquan Malone-Gregory led the co-op's offense with four receptions for 44 yards. He also had 12 tackles.

Jayden Boswell and Zach Ziemer each finished with five tackles for Bowler/Gresham.

Pittsville 66, Menominee Indian 0

Menominee Indian dropped a CWC-Small matchup at Pittsville on Friday.

Menominee Indian is now 2-6 overall and 1-4 in conference play.
